Remix Outfit no. 20: Nothing special

If someone asked me what's my favourite colour, I'd say it's green. If I was asked what is my favourite colour of clothing however, the answer would be blue. I have like tons of blue pieces, all kinds of blue from navy to royal, light, dark, doesn't matter. These days I use blue (mostly nay blue) as a base colour for most of my outfits. Which you probably noticed, if you look at my posts every once in a while.
I had some problems with school lately and as it turned out, I will have to be an undergraduate for a little longer, which sucks - and, it is all my fault, as I can't count well and I mastered the art of procrastination. Well, it means that even though I will still be technically a student, I will have to find a job for that period so I won't get bored (which I wouldn't but I would get used to doing nothing). So things are getting a bit more complicated, but it's nothing I couldn't handle...

Remix Outfit no.19: Vintage

As Ive mentioned before, I spend a lot of time indoors these days. My thesis is slowly progressing and it will be super cool, I promise. Anyway, I keep wearing my sweatpants and worn of tees and I'm fine, thanks for asking. Last week I grabbed this shirt in a second-hand store and I absolutely needed to have it! It's just silly and quirky and me. Spring just does strange things to my taste and I'm turning into Janis Joplin. Or is it just the pressure from the upcoming events...?

Remix Outfit no.18: Double

I had my English exam today, which I didn't need to attend because of my tremendous results of the written part, but hey, it's still an oral exam so a dress code is needed. I went for a pencil skirt and black wedges plus this flower printed body shaper I  found in a second hand store last week. But, I must admit, I did have to get used to something. First, the mixed prints. I know this tabu has been broken a long time ago, but I just don't feel comfortable, I always feel like I'm doing it wrong. Luckily, blueberries and petite flowers kinda look good together.
Secondly, I usually don't wear fitted top with a fitted bottom, my middle part doesn't look good in it. Well, the shaped is miraculous and with this skirt it looks like a way to go. And look at those... cleveage! Eventually I decided to button up the cardigan so the teacher wouldn't get nervous...

Remix Outfit no. 16 & 17: We are all fruit

"You know, the root of the word Miller is a Greek word. Miller come from the Greek word "milo," which is mean "apple," so there you go. As many of you know, our name, Portokalos, is come from the Greek word "portokali," which mean "orange." So, okay? Here tonight, we have, ah, apple and orange. We all different, but in the end, we all fruit. "

I am not typical fan of romantic comedies. But I do have a few favourites and My Big Fat Greek Wedding is definitely one of them. I love it even more since my own wedding is getting closer...

Outfit č.1 - I had this outfit to meet the priest that is supposed to perform the ceremony (neither of us is baptised so it is a bit complicated) and it looks like we have the priest, the place, a photographer, music - it's all we need for the wedding, right? Anyway, the photos are taken in the evening, there was not enough light in the room and the camera flash does terrible things to my face, so the photos are a bit blurry and just three of them.

Remix Outfit no. 15: Fashion myths

Sometimes you just hear things that stick with you, such as: "Horizontal stripes are wrong, vertical are right, makes you look thinner (wrong, makes you look weird)". Or "ankle boots make you lok shorter and you legs wider (doesn't matter if true or not, they're cute, I wear them). Or my favourite, you don't pair black with brown. Well, maybe you don't but I just did! And I don't think it looks that bad! Actually, I'm wearing brown with black plus the ankle boots, I'm a total mythbuster! Also, these  are my first leggins, as I didn't feel very confortable in them until recently.

Remix Outfit no.14: Odd one out!

So I had a day off yesterday and spent it playing Sims, reading, cleaning and cooking. In the evening I went out to buy a few things. Ales joined me as he would be leaving for work in an hour anyway so we took a detour and enjoyed a walk. I grabbed my bird scarf (again) as it seemed windy outside. Well, it was not. It was really nice and warm and having a scarf was useless. But I didn't want to cheat and to prove I had it I needed some pictures. These are just a little bit odd, I promise.
And, When I was going back home, alone and just a tiny bit drunk (my favourite brewery's making an ale - 8,2% alcohol. One beer, lot of fun), it was getting cold so I eventually worn the scarf...!

Remix Outfit no.13: Paint the town red

When I was still singing with the acapella group, I wore a lot of red-black combination. Today it still reminds me of that time. I do miss singing, but not the atmosphere among the people. I own three pairs of red tights, of different shade, brightness and thickness.  But what I love the most about this outfit is the tree-buckle belt. It looks elvish and elvish is always good.

Top 10 item: Striped pencil skirt

Remix Outfit no.12: Little formality

My college does not demand a dresscode. Most classmates could not care less about being in college so they don't care about wearing jeans to an exam. Jeans and something-not-a-t-shirt is usual attire for exams. Not for me. I think, that each of the exams should be treated like the one I passed when leaving high school. So I feel obliged to wear something more formal.

I paid like 2$ for the red shoes and I love it so much! The only downside is that they are really high for me, I'm not very good at walking in heels. I hate being the one that walks slowly and these... well, I never thought I would be that girl who wears shoes because they're so pretty but not very comfortable. Yeah, that is the case. Not suitable for walking...
